Carmen Kelley is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Holistic Health Practitioner specializing in Nutrition, Herbology, Clinical Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and Energy Balancing Techniques. Her initial training in healthcare was at Baylor University Medical Center with a certification and internship in Histotechnology. Her early career was spent specializing in Dermatopathology, a branch of medicine concerned with diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the skin. The 18+ years of working with various skin disorders caused from environmental hazards, poor dietary habits, and poor skincare practices taught her the importance of healthy lifestyle choices.
At an early age Carmen had an interest in natural health; often growing and using herbs and plants for various health conditions. She has trained in multiple alternative health modalities such as: Massage Therapy, Diet & Nutrition, Herbology, Clinical Aromatherapy, Therapeutic Bodywork, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Geriatric Massage, Reflexology, and Acupressure Techniques. Having grown up on a family farm, she developed a close relationship with nature. She and her husband later owned and operated a Native Plant and Herb farm specializing in plants native to Northeast Texas and similar environments. Working with varied plants and herbs inspired Carmen to pursue her interest in natural health, healing, and well being.
